A new trend in the beverage industry appears to be the consumption of mineral water, becoming increasingly popular. Is mineral water, on the other hand, beneficial? Is it better for your health to drink water that has been distilled or filtered through a reverse osmosis system instead?

Even though the entire topic is debatable, more evidence suggests that drinking premium tonic water rather than other types of water can help you maintain a good lifestyle.

Distillation and reverse osmosis systems filter water based on the water’s boiling point and molecular size, respectively. Furthermore, because synthetic chemicals have lower boiling points and smaller molecular sizes than water itself, they are not effectively filtered out by the water filtering system. They also remove all of the trace minerals naturally present in water, which is a bonus.

What are the benefits of mineral water, and why is it preferred over demineralized water?

Drinking mineral water is simply more logical in the long run. Consider this: there isn’t a single natural source of water on this planet that doesn’t contain trace minerals such as calcium, sodium, potassium, and magnesium in trace quantities. Since the beginning of time, the human race has consumed mineral water and relied on transportation. What’s the point of stopping now?

Mineral water is an essential component of nutrition and is required for the proper functioning of all cellular processes. In fact, by consuming mineral water, your body can absorb beneficial minerals more quickly and efficiently than it can do so through food.

What are the benefits of drinking mineral water? Here are some interesting facts that you probably didn’t know:

*Drinking mineral water on a long-term basis can help prevent the development of multiple mineral deficiencies that would otherwise occur due to drinking demineralized water.

It helps to maintain a pH balance in your bodily fluids that is healthy and safe for you. Because it contains more hydrogen than distilled water, demineralized water is more acidic. Your body must neutralize any substance you consume; this is accomplished by drawing minerals from your teeth and bones.

The consumption of demineralized water increases the likelihood of developing cancer at some point in one’s life. The production of free radicals increases in an acidic environment, which increases the risk of developing cancer. On the contrary, it has been demonstrated that cancer cells can only grow in an acidic environment.

So, is it beneficial to drink mineral water? In a nutshell, YES!!! Remember that drinking mineral water isn’t something that you have to spend a lot of money on to reap the benefits.

In my home, my family and I have installed a home water filtration system that removes more than 99 per cent of all the bad stuff in the water while leaving all of the beneficial minerals in the water. And you know what the best part is? It’s completely free. It costs us only 9 cents to purchase a gallon of pure, filtered mineral water from the tap.
